Katie and I went out for a lovely night on the town last weekend. We attended the silent film night on campus,
The General, with Buster Keaton. Really a fabulous show. They instructed us on how to boo, hiss, and cheer, the way silent films are supposed to be watched. The organist sat in front and provided the soundtrack. We received many compliments on our fabulous costumes, courtesy of Grandma Whiting (and a hat from Sarah Saunder's great-grandma). The polka-dot dress is the dress grandma wore to the temple on her wedding day, she claimed to have no idea where the black dress came from, but it worked great.
