Hey there family!
And this week was another great one. We had zone conference this week which is always amazing. President Hutchinson gave a great talk about charity. Without charity, we are nothing. Pretty firm statements but its what the book of mormon says.
He also talked about how just a little change in your view on the work can completely change the work. He mentioned a scripture in doctrine and covenants 18, which talked about how Christ receives joy when we repent. Therefore we as missionaries can wake up each day with the attitude, im going to make Christ happy today. The rest of his talk was great too.
This week we saw a great change in the grandma of the saurez family. I just sent you a Picture of Enzo and valentina. That baptism was like 3 weeks ago. Now the Grandma wants to get baptized on the 8th. She had a lot of doubts for a while that didn´t get cleared up until recently. For example she didn´t think that Joseph smith could have seen God without dying. Then the example of Moses was explained to her, how moses saw Him. She also didn´t think she needed to get baptized again because she was already baptized in the evangelista church. Then we explained about how the priesthood was lost and then later restored. When we invited her to pray with real intent about the book of Mormon, she accepted, and did it, and the next day she came to church with the biggest smile on her face. Shes going to get baptized on the 8th of december its going to be sweet! Her names Rosa, we are still working with Mariela who is the mother of Enzo and Valentina, but shes a little more "hard hearted" for now.
We are working hard to have a really white Christmas. Right now there are probably 6 people with a bautismal date that will be cleansed of sin this december in murphy. One that recently has changed completely is Yuana. She and her husband Ezequiel (member) have been living together for like 2 years now and shes been investigating for about that much time. Until recently she has really changed. Last time we went to their house they were reading scriptures together and listening to hymns before we came. The big problem Yuana has is smoking. But just yesterday she handed us her last pack of cigarrotes. Shes committed to quit, then get married (this week) and get baptized before the end of december!
We are getting blessed a lot in this area right now, but as a zone we are still short 34 baptisms. Its really getting crunch time and living with the zone leaders is pretty high stress. They´re trying to get every area pumped to reach this goal and at this point its really going to be a miracle for this to happen. But God is still a God of miracles.
Oh theres just so much to say but seems like not ever enough time. President was pretty firm this zone conference in enforcing the 40 minute time limit for Christmas call. Just so you dont get upset later thats what its going to be. Sounds like nothing to me, but it´ll be great and i wont be breaking white handbook rules by keeping it to 40 minutes! I hope that you're enjoying this Christmas season because i am too. The church is true and it is the only source of true happiness. Until next time

Ps sorry for not sending fotos, i just didn´t feel like i had enough to fill up a disk. In these next few weeks ill send a cd home with movies and all the fotos ive gotten as of late. Ill try to get better at that
